New Orleans, LA – Green Jobs Now will bring together diverse groups and individuals to urge our government to make an even greater investment in green jobs and clean energy. The events are spotlighting low-income communities and communities of color – two constituencies that are hardest hit by climate catastrophe, and have the most to gain from an inclusive green economy.

WHO: Dr. Calvin Mackie; City Council Members Willard Lewis and Shelly Midura; Community Leaders Aaron Viles and Pam Deshiel, and a crowd of more than 500
